Byrgenwerth is a Kickstarter Exclusive expansion set in an ancient place of learning, and introduces a host of new enemies, a new Boss, and a whole new campaign!

Alone and abandoned sits at the College of Byrgenwerth, but this seemingly empty houses are known to Yharnam. To uncover these secrets, however, Hunters must venture forth and contend with otherworldly enemies such as the Scholars and the Garden of Eyes. Not only that, but at the heart of this great mystery, Rom, the Vacuous Spider, who is said to be the key to truths never meant for mankind.

Scholar

The husks of those trapped within the Reading Building of Byrgenworth, Scholars are pathetic beings to behold, but dangerous none-the-less. Able to expand their bodies for long-range attacks, the creatures are also known to use acidic fluids against their targets.

Garden of Eyes

Completely deaf, the Garden of Eyes can be snuck upon by savvy Hunters. However, Hunters must be weary of their devastating grab attacks, which will be the cause of the hunter and not only will they be abused.

Children of Rom

Protective to the extreme, these creatures would be willing to pay their respects to those who would like to harm their mother. 

Rom, the Vacuous Spider

Rom is a deadly opponent, who is unable to defend itself at close range, does not use it. Rom is also capable of summoning large chunks of ice across the arena, so Hunters must keep constantly on the move to avoid these attacks. Finally, Rom is guarded by her Children. Thumbnails versions of herself that will be forgotten and abandoned for their own safety.

In the Byrgenwerth Expansion, Hunters will face a mysrific of otherworldly creatures as dark secrets begin to reveal themselves. The influence of Byrgenwerth and its founders, such as the famed Master Willem, echo through the streets of Yharnam, casting sinister truths that the world was never meant to know.

In this campaign, Hunters are tasked with the simple mission of accessing and clearing up the college of the nightmares trapped within ... What? What unspeakable influences caused such creatures? 

We must remember the adage of Master Willem himself: 

We are born of the blood ... 

Made men by the blood ... 

Undone by the blood ... 

Our eyes are yet to open ...
